Giddy Up Girl! Lucchese’s been in town…

December 8, 2008

only a mile or so south of the “Strip” sits an unassuming stand-alone building known as Boot Barn. since 1978, they’ve been outfitting the equestrian scene in sin-city (indeed, one exists!!) in well-made boots. last weekend’s Lucchese trunk show saw 95.5 WFMS and some Chevy men showing off their trucks, all welcoming the crowd of boot kickers inside.

Olympic Platform Deva-ing

December 6, 2008

With the Olympics over and the medals won you would think the competition would be over. Not the worlds shoe designers. They want you to stand taller than ever and the platforms just keep coming. Yves St. Laurent just released a platform they call Army that gives the global warming sandal a real heel to stand on. This is the latest shot fired but watch for many more till we give one the gold metal. I give this one a 9.0 in platform style with a twist. Enjoy-Shoes designershoeblog.com Bill Dowling
