Why do you love shoes?
They make my feet feel good -and- look good
When Imelda Marcos was all the rage, I remember thinking that she had nothing on me with the number of shoes in her closet! I’m a shoe lover and a shoe freak, but I’m trying to be more reasonable in numbers and quantity. A gal really can’t have too many shoes (or bags).
If you could design the perfect pair of shoes, what features would they have?
I’m a tall gal so I prefer flats. I love breathable leather and alot of padded insole. I’m pretty practical about what I put on my feet, but I enjoy dressy beads, buckles and ribbons for dress up occasions.
Who is your favorite shoe designer?
I like too many to pick just one, but I adore my Michelle K beaded flats
What shoe trend would you like to see disappear?
Platforms. They come around and they go around - so they’ll go away just like they did in the 70’s. Somehow they remind me of clown shoes.
What is your most favorite shoe style of all time?
This time of year makes me think of the comfort and style of Australian Uggs. My all-time favorites are probably a good pair of clogs or Birkenstocks (it’s the old hippy in me)
