This year’s Simply Summer Simply Soles has stepped it up a notch, with the help of Neiman Marcus at Northpark. The third annual event, AUGUST 23rd at The Apartment, will benefit the Turtle Creek Manor, and a reception is being held this Tuesday in Dallas!

We found these electric footwear dryers at wishingfish especially intriguing. Crank them up as you head in the shower, and when you step out, your winter shoes will be ready for wear! Imagine them down inside a pair of Uggs? Mmmmm, now that’s toasty! They are currently SO HOT they are SOLD OUT. But keep checking!

Read recently that there is a travelin’ frenzy and a more than 200% increase in airfare requests (which might actually be a conservative figure!) for the BIG DAY in our nation’s capital. With bloggers eyes already on Mrs. O, the Inauguration has my girlfriend’s scouring the net for their “Perfect” Gown.
