sex and the city countdown
December 6, 2008
March 31st, 2008
so here’s a bit of truth. while the crux of sex & the city’s popularity didn’t hit me until i actually lived in NEW YORK CITY, year’s after the HBO series ended ~ it DID finally hit me. i had prided myself, up to that point, on not needing cable. i was no conformist. so whilst some distant lady friends giggled about “last night’s” episode, i pretended i didn’t care.
then, fate and life and the heaven’s brought me to new york city. with a dream gig already lined up, and a sublet waiting, i lived my dream. yet, up until that point, i really didn’t know it was so. it was in new york that i met my lifetime girlfriends. we rarely sat around to watch the by-then tbs sex and the city re-runs. in fact, we were living it!
now that i’m far removed from the east coast… and have truly found my own “mr. big,” i find it’s my girls i miss. the whole series, in my humble opinion, boiled down to the very most amazing friends one is lucky enough to have in this here lifetime.
Christian louboutin - the higher the better!

in today’s manchester evening news.co.uk, louboutin was the topic of conversation. it follows a certain accessories sales manager, Jayne Christensen, and her thought on the designer and his shoes.
“Buying shoes is an emotion, it’s as simple as that. As long as they make you look gorgeous and feel good that’s the most important thing - they put a smile on your face,” offers Sebastian Maines, director for accessories at Selfridges. Louboutin’s are currently Selfridges’ best-selling designer shoe, with more than 40 pairs being snapped up each week.
we’ve seen the higher the heels, the hotter they are! especially, if they come with a hint of naughty. bondage, anyone? net-a-porter offers quite a lengthy selection. the pair pictured in the article? “Architek” slingbacks at $730. check these christians out!
Winter Sandals - the answer to global warming?
December 6, 2008
September 3rd, 2008
There is a growing phenomena toward a fall sandal look. We first started to notice open toe shoes in flats and peep-toe heels. Now we see a full fledged sandal look coming to the runways. The colors are awesome. The material’s complementary. The new shoe bootie looks, the ankle, mid calf, and below-the-knee boot will stay at the forefront of fashion this season. But this is a twist of season and might be the answer to global warming in the footwear industry. This new trend seems to be making some noise so watch for the winter sandal. Great for the hosiery manufacturers too. We will see some places flourish more than others. But watch for it! It’s happening. DOLCE GABBANA

The Hunting Boot: DUCK SEASON or ELECTION SEASON
December 6, 2008
September 18th, 2008
I know they are a lot of Sarah P Fashionista’s out there. So for you the boot of the season has just arrived from Berny Demore. It is the fashion hunting boot that’s just hitting the runway and the Bootie version is just as much fun. To stay politically neutral we have for the Michelle O crowd an urban pull on a platform with Croc print as well from Berny Demore boots. If you are in Cordova, AK hunting Moose for your dinner or Cordova, IL and across the river at Kernan’s Riverview Restaurant having diner you should be in a pair of these Boots.
DIOR Platform Pump

These are the one’s in all the magazines. The platform look with an open toe cut out vamp, zipper back, on an architectural cut out platform that is out of this world. These are The Red Carpet shoes of the season. Dior is one of many designers that have a bit of whimsy in their style. We love this soft suede upper on the modern platform cut out bottom. As you look through notice the toe changes that are appearing as well. These neat squared off looks are changing the look and watch for them to come. The other big move forward is multi ankle strap gladiator looks watch for them coming for resort just a few weeks away. Enjoy-Shoes Designershoesblog.com Bill Dowling
